Hi, my name is Tanya Dompe and I am a psychometrist with Clarity Psychology.
I specialize in administration and scoring of various psychological and neuropsychological measures. Over the years, I have been provided the opportunity to work with all age ranges and ability levels. Through that, I have discovered a passion for assessment and enjoy the challenge that each client brings.
Education and Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology from the University of Alberta
Background / Experience:
Throughout my schooling and professional experience I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals in forensic, school, community service, and hospital settings. I completed a one-year internship at Edmonton Institution for Men as well as the forensic young offender unit at Alberta Hospital Edmonton. I began my career completing neuropsychological assessments on brain injured clients in a private setting. I continued to train and perform assessments to assist in the diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e., ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disabilities). In addition, I have completed assessments for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, AISH, Worker’s Compensation, as well as capacity assessments.
About Me:
When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with family and friends. I am a mother of two amazing daughters who love to dance. I enjoy cooking, camping, travelling, and training for races.
