Approach to Counselling:
In my psychotherapy and counseling practice, my approach is grounded in a holistic and person-centered philosophy. Central to my approach is the cultivation of empathy and validation, fostering a safe space for open dialogue and introspection. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Play Therapy, Hypnotherapy and the Caregiver’s Skills Training Programme (CST), I create a supportive environment that honors your unique experiences and fosters growth on all levels.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent children and their families, offering support and guidance to navigate the challenges and unleash the potential. Additionally, I am particularly attuned to the impact of parental stress. Through a combination of therapeutic techniques and practical strategies, I offer parenting workshops and individualized support that empower parents to deepen their understanding of their children, nurturing healthier parent-child relationships, strengthening familial bonds, and promoting positive outcomes for families. My work also extends to children with special educational needs, where I promote social, emotional, and communication development with dedication and care.
Together, we navigate the complexities of your experiences, exploring underlying issues and collaboratively charting a course towards resolution and healing.

Serving as the Regional Technical Focal Point for the World Health Organization Caregiver Skills Training Programme (CST), I have played a pivotal role in providing global mentorship and training, enhancing mental health support on an international scale.
My research endeavors focus on the intricate challenges of supporting children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including twice-exceptionality (2e), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and autism spectrum disorders (ASD), as well as providing assistance to their caregivers within the community. During my tenure as a researcher and educator, I found fulfillment in guiding Master's-level counseling students, instilling in them the values of compassion, integrity, and resilience crucial for their professional development.
