Family Counselling

Family Counselling typically involves a combination of family members (typically one or more parents and one or more children of any age) meeting with a mental health professional on an ongoing basis. Family Counselling typically focuses on persistent challenges that exist within the family system, including processes of interaction, problematic dynamics and/or relationship tension or enmeshment.

Family Counselling sessions are often 80 minutes in length to allow for meaningful engagement in the counselling process. However, 50 minute sessions can be requested if this works better with your schedule.

Clarity Psychology is proud to offer Family Counselling in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.  Services in Cantonese and Putonghua are offered by Dr. Janet Lau, R.Psych.
